Kylie Vvans rallies at the East Gippsland Stages

I had a rally on the weekend and it was quite good! It was the first round of the Victorian (State Level) Rally Championship called the East Gippsland Stages.

Firstly my team surprised me with a new sticker job on the car - I have attached a photo - I will send a better one when I get some from the photographers out there on Saturday. At lot of people were asking me what Joe Gibbs is this time..

We put a six speed gear box in the car for this event and some Reiger suspension (the best!) and the car was fantastic - though the driver was struggling a bit getting used to the new gear box.

At the halfway point we were running 25th out of 47 cars. The second part of the rally was in the night time and was very dusty and this is where I seemed to excel. With a lot of crews struggling in the dust and with car sick co-drivers I finished the rally in 9th position - beating home many turbo charged 4WD's!

The photo doesn’t really do the new sticker job much justice - hopefully I can get some better ones… Looks great with a touch of pink!!!
